Dr. Joshua Austin is a well-regarded speaker at major conferences, known for his practical, applicable education that inspires and entertains attendees while also offering sound fundamentals that make a difference in dental practice success. He is praised for his keynote speeches at events like Dentsply Sirona World to Seattle Study Club Symposiums.

As the editorial director and columnist for Dental Economics focusing ion dental products and technology (Pearls for Your Practice), he offers a fresh approach on today’s commercial driven dental journalism. When you read a “Pearl”, you are getting an honest evaluation of a product which was used by Dr Austin in clinical practice on a patient.

He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and spent five years teaching restorative dentistry there. Currently, he runs a full-time restorative dentistry practice in San, Antonio, Texas.

Dr Austin has received multiple awards, including Texas Dental Association’s Young Dentist of the Year in 2009, Texas Academy of General Dentistry’s New Dentist of the Year in 2010, and a Fellowship in the American College of Dentists in 2014 for his commitment to ethics in patient care. He also holds a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry.

In this course, we will discuss direct restoration procedures for the posterior. You will learn how to increase your efficiency and results with your posterior restorations, using unique techniques. Attendees will participate in all steps of different posterior restorations using bulk-fill composite with correct curing light procedures and several techniques.
